    Dear Florian and the team,

Two weeks ago I had a little experience with generating 3D LUT for DaVinci Resolve. Not a brilliant though. While standard DisplayCAL test showed correct result, DaVinci produces some color (primarily saturation) difference. The Rec.709 with gamma 2.4 settings were used. The question is: what intent settings for source and output are correct for typical 27″ sRGB+ display that is calibrated for gamma 2.2? Does +mtx matter here for XYZLUT profile type?

And now we want 3ds Max to use output LUT, but… What source type should I use to convert Max’s screen data to sRGB (JPG export) view on my display? Is it Rec.709 with gamma 2.2 (display gamma) or I need to use collink and sRGB.icm? Of course, we also have to make correct export setting, the Max is aged system.

    Regards.

    Aleksei
