Hello, I was hoping to see if I could get some help calibrating the Samsung Odyssey G7 in it’s SDR using a SpyderX Pro.

Using default settings of Gamma 2.2 Tone Curve and Generic ended up with the monitor having very washed out color. I doesn’t look like there are any corrections available for the monitor itself as far as I can tell. Scouring online it seems like a Spectrophotometer would be better than the Colorimeter that I got, but I figured I’d ask here before continuing on blindly.

It’s a Wide Gamut QLED VA Panel. I doubt these specs would be useful but it’s listed with: “Color Supported Max 1.07 B, Color Gamut (DCI Coverage) Typ 95 %, Min 88 %, and sRGB Coverage Typ 125 %”.

Any help would be appreciated. Hope ya have a good day.

Don’t know if there’s a way to edit the post. Ended up looking at that resources post that was stickied. Ended up finding the monitor itself, still looking for the actual panel.
