    Hello,

I’m kind of new in all of the calibration world but i wanted to show a report and see whats going on exactly, im doing my SDR calibration to a LG OLED C8 gamma BT 1886, i have done all of the corresponding changes on the TV Interface, factory remote and DisplayCal Config. However i think im still missing something, on my report im getting a Delta Error  on Measured vs. display profile whitepoint ΔE*00 of 8,75 and im trying to see whats the reason for it . All of the rest is showing OK and maximum delta error of 1.7 which i think it should fine.

Could you tell me if there is  anything i am missing when and if that calibration should do fine for my screen?

    Thanks in advance!

Instead doing self check run a full measurement report with actual measured data and device link ICC equivalent of your resolve LUT3D in simulate colorspace (simulate Rec709 + device link ICC).
With such data people can help you.

Hey Vicent thanks for the help, im uploading the measurement report with device link, this last report i did is showing my Srgb at 99.99% also a maximum delta error of 1.32 which i think is not bad, however i see most of the misalignments with the simulated rec709  into my 0 to 10% range. If anyone could tell me whats happening that would be fantastic, Im still learning and just got started like 2 months ago to do my own calibrations.

    thanks in advance

Seems fine. Instead of focusing on meaningless % look to a*b* which have a more or less direct translation to human visual distance.
For more info run a gray scale verification chart, look to RGB+gray balance upper combo, look then for a*b* range. Seems good in this limited report.

Thank you for your reply Vincent, I understand now, i ran a gray scale chart and got some pretty bad results, i fixed it by changing my TV to Warm2 which i read that was more accurate on the white balance, after that i ran another gray scale chart and saw better results.

I have done a large verification chart that might be less limited and i’m attaching it down here, i’m getting ok results with a maximum delta error of 2.62. I was wondering if its possible to run another calibration or what should I do exactly to make it more exact. Again, thank you for all the help, I’m beggining to understand a lot of things by reading in this forum.

    regards
