Everything is ok with the new build.
Thank you very much & hope you can add 1dlut support in the future.
Would you mind sharing your settings for calibration and 3dlut ? It would be very helpful.
thank you
here
Thank you for sharing your settings. Where did you get c8 correction from?
You are using madvr. I want to use raspberry pi as pattern generator but it doesn’t work or I don’t know how to make it work .
@Florian would you consider adding raspberry pi as pattern generator? I heard it is bit accurate and relatively cheap that would be icing on the cake ????.
regards.
Or maybe it is other way to control it. I downloaded pgenerator from Light… and it works with Calman HCFR and LightSpace. Please think about it.
Thank you for sharing your settings. Where did you get c8 correction from?
It’s basically an edr correction file converted to ccss, the edr file was made by lightillusion, Flanders Scientific and X-Rite.
Note though that this EDR file has been created with the TV in Rec. 709 gamut emulation mode. DisplayCAL comes with a CCSS (LG OLED 6 series) that was created with the TV in native (roughly P3) gamut mode.
Thank you . As for raspberry, would you know how to control it?
It is not currently supported.
are you happy with results of 3dlut ? Can you share calibration settings as well?
will you consider adding raspberry as controller? Or add something like external ip adress window so we can input raspberry ip adress
regards.
are you happy with results of 3dlut ? Can you share calibration settings as well?
Yes, i’m very happy with the results, the best i’ve ever had.
1- Using DCC Reset 3DLUT only.
2- Set oled light to your target nits (26 for my panel to get arround 102nits)
3- Brightness Calibration (51 is the right setting for my panel)
4- 2p WB High calibration
P.S: I’ve skipped 1dlut calibration because it needs brightness set to bypass value (50) to work correctly, and 50 for my panel is not right and cause a bit of shadow details crash.
Forgot to mention, i’ve used 2.2 gamma tv preset as it’s the native tv response, then targeted 2.4 for the 3dlut.
@tonybcc , if you are calibrating for PC use, use the PC as the pattern generator. Measure what you are trying to correct, not something else.
@abdessamad, is anyone allowed to use DeviceControl to upload 3D LUTs to the TV, or do you need a LightSpace license for that?
Yes, you need LS licence to get LG Templates cloud access for DCC.
