    Hi,

I would like to ask if it’s possible for displaycal to make 1d-lut and 3d-lut for LG 2018-2019 TV’s. I will attache a sample of lut’s made by Lightspace so you can check if it’s possible.
I like to use displaycal because of i1d3 adaptive mode and truly i think displaycal color engine is superior especially for OLED near black.
To upload the lut’s to the TV we have already a free tool called DCC that have LG Templates.

    Kind Regards

No 1D LUT currently, but 3D LUT format is Autodesk (*.3dl) with 33x33x33 resolution.

    Hi Florian,

Unfortunately it didn’t work, DCC keep showing warnings about wrong lut format.

I’ve tried to manually change the file extension from .3dl to .dcl as it should be, it didn’t work either.

In displaycal i have selected autodesk/kodak

    33x33x33

    10bit input

    12bit output

    Thoughts?

You may need to edit the file (open in Notepad, not WordPad) and remove the following lines at the top:

    # INPUT RANGE: ...
    # OUTPUT RANGE: ...

It didn’t help, I get same error and picture turn pinkish.

Ah, you’ll probably also need to delete the line following those two (the one with 0 32 64 96 128…etc).

I’ve tried that already, but i didn’t change much. Same error message and picture turn bluish instead of pinkish.

Unfortunately I have the same problem. Florian please have a look at this. If this work you gain massive advantage.
