Current DisplayCAL release does not work in Windows XP. It installs but silently quits after run. The last version that worked in Windows XP is 3.6 and it does it well, except that you may experience problems downloading anything via DisplayCAL itself (Argyll binaries, corrections) due to ssl/certificates problem. You need to download them manually, unpack to some folder and point DisplayCAL to use it.
There is also a problem with switching profiles in tray icon loader. It doesn’t work. The last version where this feature worked is 3.2. Switching profile is not really necessary so I prefer to stay with 3.6 anyway.
Just FYI. Maybe someone will search for this like I did…
