    Hi,

Trying to calibrate my Dell S2721 DGFA. Im using  a Colormunki display which I have used on other monitors with no issue.

Main issues are if I calibrate in the wide gamut I cant adjust the color and brightness in the monitor due to the HDR locking those off. No issue, I just do th the Nvida control panel. I then let the calibration run but at the end, while I get great delta levels the color coverage is saying its terrible giving only around 53% of PCI3.

Any advice? Other than turn off HDR?

If HDR doesn’t allow you to adjust the brightness and RGB values, you must disable it.

It’s entirely possible that your display simply has a low coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut.

That monitor is not HDR, it has just a translator from HDR signal to SDR p3 panel+backlight capabilities, hence it has no use enabling it.

For watching HDR content use a software converter since it can be configured (madVR with DisplayCAL)
