I like to do printing for arts and crafts and was wondering if there is a way to calibrate printer output color using a spectromoter and displaycal?

Most printer & photo software only allows profiling, but IDNK what HW you have.
Also for people with “home” photo printers, lower than typical Canon Pro100, Epson SC-400, printers without dedicated advanced B&W printing, this may be worth reading:
http://www.russellcottrell.com/photo/ArgyllColorPatches.htm
-Profile as usual, like typical 4 A4 sheet
– Custom neutral patches coording to that profile (http://www.russellcottrell.com/photo/ArgyllColorPatches.htm) + http://www.russellcottrell.com/photo/ti1Customize.htm
– Print them, dry, read them
– Add them http://www.russellcottrell.com/photo/ti3Combine.htm
