I want to profile my Color Munki display with a Color Munki design spectro meter. Is Hi-Res more more accurate?

Theres also settings for adaptive and non adaptive, which is better?

Should I check Minimize X Y chromoaticity differences?

Hi-res mode is slightly more accurate. Adaptive mode is the default and should definitely be used.

Observer type, leave at default (1931 2°).

    1. Is there any reason or situation not to use HiRes? Why is it an option and why isn’t it the default on DisplayCAL if it’s slightly more accurate?

The default is to match X-Rite’s driver more closely (no high-res mode).
