Hello,
I am trying to install DisplayCal on a Mac powerbook for use with a Spyder 5. I have followed the instructions here- (No Spyder software has been installed, unit is still in box.)
Download and install DisplayCAL. (Choose the standalone package.)
Run through the wizard and complete the installation.
Launch DisplayCAL.
Allow the suite to download and install the Argyll CMS color engine.
Go to Tools > Instrument.
At this point I am supposed to be able to select “Install Argyll CMS instrument drivers”.
This option does not show up, I only have “Enable Spyder2 Colorimiter” See screenshot
I have deleted, redownloaded and started from the beginning several times and no change.
Can someone help me get this setup? Happy to give more info if needed.
Thanks!

Hi,
no instrument driver is needed under macOS – only Windows.
Well that makes it easier. Thanks for the reply. What are the next steps in the process to set it up correctly? Is there anything I need to use from the Spyder5 software?

Connect your Spyder5 and refresh the instrument list (arrows button).

You will be asked to import the Spyder5 corrections (additional measurement modes). Select “Auto”.
