So I downloaded the deb for Ubuntu 18.4 which is the base for Linux Mint 19, and got this error message. How to fix, please?

2019-01-24 at 20:51 #15461Well I hit Edit->Fix broken packages in Synaptic and no joy. Also uninstalled 3.7 and installed 3.5 from the LM repo. Same problem.
What next?

Not too sure what that all means.

2019-01-24 at 21:52 #15471Cairo is installed, but seemingly not working correctly. You should probably report that to your distribution’s maintainer of the wxPython package (I think it’s called python-wxgtk on Debian-based systems).
