i1 Display Pro for Quantum Dots LED display calibration

Hello,

I was trying to calibrate  a Samsung TV model KS7000 (or KS8000 in the US). This model features a quantum dots LED panel. In the latest release of displaycal, I noticed the inclusion of colorimeter corrections for Quantum Dot LED (Samsung QLED Q9F) in combination with i1D3. I am wondering wether these corrections would be suitable to use when calibrating the KS7000 series or should I stick with white LED or RGB LED profile?

Hi,

yes, the Q9F correction should be a better match than RGB LED family (or WLED family).
