    Hi Everyone,

I stumbled upon this thread and was hoping someone would be kind enough to help me out.

I recently had an individual recap and calibrate my Samsung 1100DF CRT monitor, this person is very knowledgeable and provided me a custom 3Dlut (.fx file to use in ReShade?) and an ICC profile. I’ve run into issues using ReShade itself with some games, it’s a bit finicky and/or I just haven’t spent enough time familiarizing myself with the program.

I was wondering if there is an easy way I can just apply the 3dlut to the desktop itself so I could avoid having to mess with ReShade or another application?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Congratulations, great work. Just tried it on 25H2 with a sRGB->widegamut LUT3D (sRGB simulation) and works without issue.

    Thanks for you work.

There’s an issue where DWMLUT applies LUT to both monitors instead of one.

Thank you so much ! I downloaded this update the 13/03/2026 ! The 1.0.1 version was the only one that worked this day. I don’t touch this installation, it works very well.

Anyone know why this message comes up?  My 3D LUT was created using this thread back in 2023.  Been working on lauralex dwm_lut till he/she stopped updating after 24H2.

Have you tried to delete config.xml to reset settings?

I’ve troubles running the 1.0.8 with a multi monitor setup. It applies the main screen 3DLUT to the secondary one. My goal was to calibrate the CMS of my TV manually by using my better calibrated main monitor as reference. The TV is a CCFL backlit screen so I can get measurement inaccuracies compared to the QD-OLED ref. Is there a workaround ?

The 1.0.8 has all sorts of problems.  And the github has gone into an archive mode, so I don’t think the maintainer is working on it anymore.

Thus far, after deleting the XML files, the problem comes back randomly.

the program crashes the Task Bars

When you have multiple monitors it applies the profile to ALL the monitors.

They all do.  Every single version this person forked.  I have 2 QD-OLED monitors and a TV.  and the primary cube file will be placed on all of them.  My QD-OLED is the same brand and panel, so the color is off very unnoticeably.  But with the TV.  HUGE HUGE difference.

The Task Bar issue only happens from a sleep/wake state.  Forgot to add that part

Also when going to HDR mode it complete throws the secondary or third…four display out of whack as well.
