Hi! First of all thank you for Displaycal. While it’s easy to save the calibrated profile as the default one for any Laptop/PC I dont’t have any idea how to setup my TV accordingly to the measurements taken by Displaycal or how to import the profile data. I know I’m years too late but is there any workflow, tutorial or anything like that to manage calibration preferred in a mostly automated way for Panasonics last plasma generation (gtw60)?
Hi,
most TVs do not have built-in 3D LUT capability (a notable exception are LG OLEDs), so you need to use an external LUT box like the eeColor, or use the PC and (e.g.) madVR to have color accurate video playback.
Isn’t it possible to interpret measurements and setup TV manually?
Sure, but DisplayCAL is aimed exclusively at color management, not manual adjustment. You may want to take a look at HCFR or similar solutions.
Its a pitty I went to Linux years ago. HCFR is for Windows only isn’t it.
Kannst mir sonst auch gerne auf deutsch antworten^^

Yes but it should run under Wine afaik (haven’t tried it though) or in a VM (MS offers free VMs for IE/Edge testing).

Würde ich machen, aber auf Englisch haben mehr Leute etwas von den Antworten 🙂
