    HI there,

We want to calibrate  our Barco 10S DCI projector with the i1 Display Pro meter  for color grading room using Davinci Resolve with Decklink Extreme 4K 12G.

Anyone tried or calibrated such setup and can share what settings i should use e.g. calibration settings, black and white drift, display type, etc.

looking forward for some serious and step by step guidance.

    Hi,

I can only make general recommendations, but for a projector I would definitely use white level drift compensation, and use a small pattern size (although it needs to be large enough so the instrument doesn’t pick up the surround of the pattern area).

As for display type/correction, there is the usual generic projector family spectral correction. How well that would fit your actual projector, I am not able to determine. If you have a spectrometer available, you could create your own correction.

I assume you have seen the Resolve guide in the Wiki?
