    Hi

So I tried calibrating an external Reference Monitor at work (sony lmd 2451w, no idea if this is even color accurate?) with DisplayCal and Spectracal CALMan inside Resolve.

After the whole procedure I wanted to save the LUT for the screen, but instead I got several text files that I have no idea how to use them.

What’s happening here? I’m very confused!

    Hi,

did you use the “3D LUT for Resolve” preset in DisplayCAL? If not, you need to change the 3D LUT format on the 3D LUT tab to *.cube (disable “Create 3D LUT after profiling” to be able to re-create the 3D LUT with the existing profile, no need for new measurements),

This is what I forgot. I didn’t check the 3D LUT Tab.

I’m not at work anymore, but I’ve got the .txt files with me. Is it possible to create a .cube at home?

Just opened up DisplayCAL on my laptop but I have no idea what to do with these .txt files now

Or do I need the .icc it created as well?

Yes, you need the icm file (the one shown under “Settings”).

I’m getting the .icc file sent over, I’ll try my best then at home
