First Time calibrating

Hi everyone

I am about to calibrate my screen for the first time and I would like to know if there is some general settings to take care of to get me good results. I use my pc for photo editing using PS and LR and I wonder if there is some settings apart  from the default that would give me better results

the important considerations are listed on the lower half of the “Display & instrument” tab.

Ok thanks. My main reason for calibrating is to use lightroom for photo editing
