    Hi,

    I have this error when I want to create a colorimeter correction with my i1DisplayPro OEM & i1Pro 2 Spectrophotometer Rev E. (I have installed Installing ArgyllCMS instrument drivers). When I click on “Measure” with i1Pro2 say “Error – New_disprd failed with” Instrument access failed”.

    What am I doing wrong? I can not find an option to initialize the spectrophotometer! Thks in advance!

    1) Tools -> Instrument -> Spectrometer self-calibration

    2) Tools -> Correction -> Create colorimeter correction -> Mesasure

    I activate Argyll CMS diagnostic output. I attached the result file DisplayCAL.log.

    init_inst returned ‘Hardware Failure’ (Instrument calibration info is missing or corrupted)

    Sounds bad. If you switch back to the X-Rite driver and run X-Rite i1 Diagnostic, does it pass?

    Do measurements work in i1 Profiler?

    Does using a different measurement mode help? (i.e. use the default “LCD (generic) adaptive”)

    I do not have that mode, I have “Direct view mode”.

    That seems to be CalMAN?

    Yes, those are the modes that appear in Calman (as an example) and these are the modes that appear in DisplayCal… I try with all the modes that appear in DisplayCal, without lucky, same error.
