    Hi there,

I am attempting to calibrate a secondary monitor connected to my laptop. Every time the process starts – at the very beginning, after showing the window to align the meter and while it says “setting up the instrument” on the first interactive calibration window – it throws out an error. Logs below:

How is the display connected to the Laptop?

via a ‘docking station’ which is in turn connected via USB. Do you think that that could be the problem?

Yes. This seems to be a somewhat ‘crippled’ display path because there is no access to the videoLUT. Is  Windows set to extended desktop or mirrored mode?

How’s the display connected? If there is no videoLUT access because the display adapter doesn’t have videoLUT hardware, you have to disable 1D calibration (set tone curve to “As measured” on the calibration tab).
