Error – new_disprd failed – why is there no solution?

So I’m getting this error, and it seems like many others in this forum are too. But I’ve searched every post and not a single one ends in a solution. I need to calibrate my display, or I guess find different software. Last attempt at trying to fix this. Can anyone help?

Error – new_disprd failed with “Instrament Access Failed”

I’ve calibrated this monitor with the Colour Munki Display on a Mac successfully before. Now I’m on a windows 10 machine. No luck.

Please help. If I knew how to make a Display CAL log file, I would. But instructions on how to do that are also hard to find.
