Home › Forums › Help and Support › Error Message at start of Display Cal
Hi,
I’m a junior colorist and I am currently trying to calibrate my laptop because I can”t work on my main monitor.
I already used display cal on it a while ago and I’m using it with a Datacolor Spyder5.
But when I recently opened Displaycal it shows the following message:
“Couldn’t terminate C:\Users\Antoine\AppData\Roaming\DisplayCAL\dl\Argyll_V2.1..2\bin\dispcal.exe Please try to end it manually before continuing to use DisplayCAL. If you can not terminate, restarting DisplayCal may also help”
So I tried to restard several times, reinstalled several times, also tried to download Argyll modules provided on your website and I’m running the latest version of DispCal 3.8.9.3. I’m working on a Asus rog strix g531u.
I still always get the error message and can’t run a calibration ! I don’t know how to actually terminate the dispcal.exe (I looked in the task host but didn’t find anything)
If you have a solution It would save me !
Thank you for your attention, have a good day
