    Hello

I have EIZO EV2450 monitor that I quit successfully calibrated with DisplayCAL.

After I checked the calibration report it’s still showing high deltaE values around the black color (# 2,3,4,8,11)

    Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advice for your answer and above all for your software!

    sorry for my english

    Hi,

I don’t see any high delta E values in the above report? Black is at 1.29, which is excellent considering that black point chroma and hue isn’t considered (for maximum contrast, black point is not corrected by default).

    Thanks you Florian!

I have recalibrated it out of curiosity with the following settings: (Office & Web D65 G2.2) “Calibration speed” low, “Profile quality” high. The results were quite peculiar. The three basic colours peak and distort at ends, however, I am uncertain that this is a functional error at all. I would like You to give an opinion about it based on the reports and pictures. Beside the above mentioned settings I have increased the “amount of patch” value from 175 to 425, but no other changes were made in the Office & Web D65 G2.2 profile.

Recalibrated. I’m so much more satisfied with that…

    Compare the reports! 🙂

Just one more question! Can I make 3D LUT from my existing profile?

Looks great. What did you change? I assume calibration speed to low as mentioned above?

Just one more question! Can I make 3D LUT from my existing profile?

Yes, absolutely. Enable the 3D LUT tab in the “Options” menu.

Yes, and “Enhance effective resolution” AUTO to 65x65x65 🙂 Slower but more accurate.

Enable the 3D LUT tab in the “Options” menu.

And how will this affect the gamma? (1D LUT 2.2 gamma convert to 3D LUT Rec.1886)

    sorry for my bad english

Just like you said, the 3D LUT will use whatever tone curve you set for it, irrespective of the 1D calibration.
