Does current system colour profile affect DisplayCAL calibration?

Hi

As mentioned in the topic I’m wondering if I need to worry about clearing system profiles before calibrating with DisplayCAL. Does the software take care of unloading any active profiles before calibration.

I’m using linux and loading my profiles using xiccd and colormgr.  The device I’m using is a ColorMunki Display.

In my experience DisplayCal resets the video card gamma table after starting interactive adjustment or calibration.
