    Hi,

    you may have to install updated udev rules (menu “Tools” -> “Instrument”).

    Hi, I cannot find such menu option. See screenshot

    I solved with

    # touch /etc/udev/rules.d/51-displaycal.rules

    and I inserted into it

    SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="0765", ATTR{idProduct}=="6008", MODE="0666

    and then

    # udevadm control --reload

    I made a typo, corrected version
    SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="0765", ATTR{idProduct}=="6008", MODE="0666"

    The correct menu entry is “Install Argyll instrument configuration files”. If the system provides its own, you may first need to uninstall that using the respective menu option (the system file will be backed up).
