Message from CLI: “/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/wx-3.0-gtk3/wx/_core.py:16629: UserWarning: wxPython/wxWidgets release number mismatch
Warning: handle_error(): ImportError: Cannot import name wx
    Exiting displaycal”
Running a fully updated PCLinuxOS here. Anyone?

    Thanks!, Klaas.

Alright. Your wxPython is broken. Reinstall or report the bug to your distribution.

I might be able to work-around the underlying wxPython issue. Please try latest revision from SVN.

Thanks a lot Florian!, it works. Also it seemed a wee bit odd for wxpython to be broken suddenly whilst Displaycal was working immaculately prior to the update. Cheers!, Hoos.

The “wxPython/wxWidgets release number mismatch” is a wxPython packaging problem that still should be fixed appropriately. Also note that I will drop support for wxPython3 and Python 2.x (which is EOL end of the year) completely in one of the next releases.
