DisplayCal update for I1 Display Pro Plus ?

Hi!

I bought the new i1 Display Pro Plus and I wonder if I can use displayCal witth it safely? I see that DisplayCal didn’t received update since 1 year. Its is abandonned?

i1d3 devices are deteced or not by ArgyllCMS depending on unlock codes. DisplayCAL is just a front end. Plus should be like an i1d3 OEM and share its unlock code, so no issues.

Older 3rd party “closed software” may not have ALL unlock codes, and may reject OEMs depending on Xrite SDK version & licensing but that does not apply to ArgyllCMS. AFAIK Argyll has all the known i1d3 unlock codes.

Ok thanks. In order to use DisplayCal with I1 Display Pro, should I install i1 Profiler before for device drivers or they are already included in DisplayCal install program?

i1d3 colorimeter family requires no drivers. They are HID devices, like a generic USB mouse.
