    Hello!

First, thank you for DisplayCAL. It’s awesome.

I have a problem, that started maybe a month ago? Before that, DisplayCAL Loader was starting in the system tray of Windows 10 for my two users on my Windows 10 computer, even at the same time. The profile was loaded in both sessions, I could switch user no problem, the profile was loaded everywhere.

Now I can’t start DisplayCAL Loader on the two connected users. I have to log out from one user to start it on the second. DisplayCAL Loader is charging (and applying my profile) only on the first connected user. The gamma table correction is not charging for the second user.

I uninstalled everything and every trace of DisplayCAL (system wide and in AppData for both users) and reinstalled it, but the problem is still there. Others programs have no problem being charged by both users.

Any help with that would be appreciated!

So it’s trying to kill a process PID 10868 (maybe the instance from the other user?), and cannot do it (access denied). I can kill it manually from this user.

    Hi,

multi-user support (concurrent logins) was removed due to MS Get/SetDeviceGammaRamp bug introduced with Windows 10 1903. It will not be coming back until MS fixes that bug (so, probably never at this rate).

Thank you very much for the answer.

I have follow-up question then. Only one of those user is doing color critical works. Is it possible to make the Profile Loader load for only one user? I can change the Scheduled task to start on logon only for one user, but Profile Loader will load on the other user on Power Event (and I suppose at 4:00), if the first account is not connected with Profile Loader already started.

You can change the user for which a task should run in the properties of a task.

Thank you @fhoech for the idea.

    So, here is a mini-tutorial:

    1. Open Scheduler Task
    2. Find task “DisplayCAL Profile Loader Launcher”
    3. Right click > properties: SEE IMAGE
    4. Follow THIS IMAGE (here you pick YOUR account that will have Profile Loader enabled)
    5. Save everything and click “Triggers”. You should have enabled: Begin the task – At log on; Settins: Specific user – same user you picked in step 4. SEE IMAGE
    6. Save everything, reboot PC (or log off from all users and log back in with your account only)

Hope MS will fix this soon 🙂
