    Hello everyone,

Is it possible to directly install from DisplayCal a calibration 3D and 1D LUT in LG C9/CX/C1?

Or is it possible to use an external calibration LUT Box, instead, like FSI BOX IO Duo?

Is it possible for DisplayCal to calibrate LG C9/CX/C1., HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision mode?

You cannot upload calibrations that require propietary API, like almost all HW calibration features.

You can use OSD controls to fix gamma, grey and gamut boundaries using the CMS in TV and its n point adjustment. HCFR may be easier to use for that task than DisplayCAL, argyllcms under the hood.

For full LUT3D internal calibration or internal 256/1024 entry grey calibration you’ll need an app that has access to propietary API like calman or lightillusion solutions.

For an external lutbox, as long as it accepts to upload a lut file in the known formats to DisplayCAL, you can do that.

There is no need to use a LUT box with those LG TVs. You can upload a 3D LUT directly to the TV and enjoy near perfect colors. Netflix recommends this approach for SDR color grading and HDR pre-grading/review.

You will need proprietary software like Calman Home for LG ($150). They have a walkthrough and a YouTube video guide on their website.
