I am trying to calibrate 2 ASUS VG248QE monitors. I am using a Spyder5 Pro as my measurement device. After running the color calibration I am noticing that while the displays are similar looking, they have some very noticeable differences. The differences are most noticed when looking at green colors. When I used the “check measurement file” tool there are several red X’s with numbers beside them.
I apologize for my ignorance, but the different colors are driving me crazy. What can I do to ensure that both monitors show the same colors?
This monitor has a TN panel, which are usually unsuitable for color-critical work due to colors shifting depending on viewing angle. The problem you see is probably related to that. There’s not really a fix as it’s a hardware limitation of TN panel displays.
