    Hi there,

I created a colorimeter correction for my NEC MultiSync P221W with DisplayCAL 3.4.

    Spectrophotometer: i1 Pro2

    Colorimeter: i1 Display Pro

I uploaded the ccss file under the name “NEC P221W (i1 Pro 2)_Werkseinstellungen “.

Although I have selected “LCD (generic) Adaptive HiRes” during the ccss generation process, the measurement mode automatically switches to “Refresh (generic)”, when selecting the colorimeter correction for monitor calibration. When I switch back the measurement mode  to “LCD (generic)”, the correction selection automatically changes to “None”.

That means that the generated ccss can only be used in the “Refresh (generic)” mode.

    How can this be prevented?

Florian wrote in another post: “…but you shouldn’t use a spectrometer for prolonged measurement sessions anyway if you can avoid it, as low light accuracy and drift are a real problem.”

So I’d rather use the ccss corrected i1 Display Pro instead of the i1 Pro2 for monitor calibration.

    Thanks a lot !

    Egor

There is no need to prevent it, you can use the correction as-is.
