I’m attempting to correct a screen in HDR mode. So far, a 3DLUT applied in Reshade (to ST 2084) works exactly as it should, or ICC profile in mpv in its PQ mode.

I’d like to use madvr instead though.

Using a tone mapping HDR LUT removes HDR (sets video to ~200 nit) in madvr 0.92.17, even if the checkbox in DisplayCAL is set to Process HDR… So it does not do a correction.
I’d expect a HDR to SDR LUT to work that way, but not a HDR correction.

How would I go about correcting the display in HDR mode in madvr then? I’d need a LUT to put in the calibration tab in madvr I suspect, but I cannot generate one with PQ target gamma in DisplayCAL much like for Reshade – but it only seems to make mapping LUTs and locks out the correction for SMPTE 2084 source.
