Hello,
having installed and successfully used the x-rite software I downloaded the Argyll drivers for DisplayCal.
When I then called the x-rite software again, the instrument i1studio was no longer recognized. There were driver conflicts.
Is it possible to have both DisplayCal and x-rite installed and be used in parallel (of course not simultaneously 🙂

It is not a good idea to install x-rite software, if you are intending to use displaycal.

As Simeonov explanied ther are some potential conflicts
-If your i1studio is spectrophotometer, it needs an USB driver taht overrides Xrite’s. You can fast switch between them, read Argyll USB documentation about installing.
-Xrite typically installs a weird and very limited LUT loader for GPU. Delete/disable it. It just a shortcut so it runs on startup, you won’t delete anything. Or just move it to some other folder. Also it causes banding (very limited…) unless you restart and no not use it again.
Rely on DisplayCAL LUT loader for any ICC with VCGT calibration no matter which app was used to make it.
