    Good day,

i thought its a bug of my old windows 10 installation but i got the same issue with my clean install of Win 10.

I callibrated both my monitors (2x MSI 274QRF-QD) with expected accuracy and applied the profiles via the DisplayCal profile loader but when i open pictures  the colors jump / change after a second.

The previews in the fileexplorer and programs like Telegram Desktop just ignore everything and display pictures really oversaturated.

There has to be something set up wrong

I have attached a pictures with screenshots and put them in a comparable format

    It’s perfectly normal.

    That’s how Windows 10 works.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Whats even the point of offering a way to load profiles if they get ignored…

I guess i spend a grand on monitors for nothing

    You didn’t.

Your color profile is loaded correctly.

    Everything’s fine.

Stick to color managed apps, or use a system wide solution like DWMLUT or novideo_srgb.

A jump in colors might mean that the application first displays the image without color correction, then loads and applies the color profile and then (jump) displays the color-corrected image. For example, when moving an ACDSee window from one screen to the other, it usually takes a couple of seconds until the profile of the new monitor is applied.
