    Hello.
    I’m new here.

One or two Questions to Colrmunki, or maybe more 🙂

I recently bought first a “Colormunki Display to calibration display, and a colormunki Photo 2 month later, to calibration a printer.
My Question, what should I take for calibrate the display? Display or Photo

The second question would be. I have a Canon IPF 8400 and would like to create paper Profile. What software should I use for the by Xrite or dispcalGui. Which is easier?

    Thank you for your reply.

    Kind regards!

    Hi,

My Question, what should I take for calibrate the display? Display or Photo

use the ColorMunki Display, but create a colorimeter correction for it first (using the ColorMunki Photo). To do that, connect both instruments, then select the ColorMunki Display under “Instrument”. Then click the small “plus” sign next to the “Correction” dropdown. In the window that pops up, take a reference reading with the ColorMunki Photo, then a reading with the ColorMunki Display. This will create a correction specifically for your display and ColorMunki.

What software should I use for the by Xrite or dispcalGui.

dispcalGUI doesn’t support creating printer profiles.
