Hello. DisplayCal is detecting my monitor and other components such as MadVR, but not any instruments. I am on Windows 10 Home x64 on Fall Creators Update. I cannot click Calibrate & profile. I intstalled all Argyill instruments possible and it isn’t detecting them.  I’ve clicked the “Detect display devices and instruments” option so many times and nothing happens. I am on a laptop with an LCD screen and AMD Radeon R4 Graphics on latest driver. DisplayCal is on current latest v3.4. Please help me.

    Hi,

an instrument is not something that you install, it’s a piece of hardware that you have to buy and for which a driver may be needed. Not sure how you managed all the entries without actual hardware present.

Thank you for the info, helps. Is there any other way to make DisplayCal work, without instruments?

Nor really. To take measurements, you need a measurement instrument. Without measurements, no calibration and profiling.
