    Hi,

Last night I have calibrated and profile my monitor using the Default preset. It worked just fine. Now I’m trying to generate a 3D lut file from the files created by dispcalGUI, for use with madVR, but t3iparser gives me the following error:

    http://i59.tinypic.com/sxyrno.jpg

I wonder if that’s because I didn’t use the preset called “Video 3D LUT for madVR”?

    Hi,

I don’t know about ti3parser, but wouldn’t recommend its use anyway, you’ll get better results by creating the 3D LUT directly in dispcalGUI.
You could use the existing profile, but you’ll likely want a higher patch count for better accuracy, so using the “Video 3D LUT for madVR” preset as you mentioned is a good idea.
In case you want to use the existing profile regardless, select “madVR” under display device, this should enable the “3D LUT” tab. On this tab, disable “Create 3D LUT after profiling”. The button at the bottom will then change to “Create 3D LUT…”
