I’m wondering what the “sweet” spot is for the amount of patches? I’m running it on my laptop screen with my i1display pro my laptop are running with Ubuntu 18.04LTS.

Also what does “calibration speed” mean? If I’m using low there does the software work more accurate then with the calibration?

I use to use CalMan but they don’t support LInux so I’m taking this software for a spinn, so far it’s great and I’ll donate!

The sweet spot are the defaults (“fast” calibration speed and 175 patches for profiling). Decreasing calibration speed does more iterations and tightens the delta E tolerances.

I see, then I guess that medium is good for me there as I want as low DeltaE’s as possible.

Is it any downside to use 1000 color patches?

Probably overkill for a computer display. Use the default 175.
