calibration over written

    I have windows 10 on a dell laptop and dell monitor.   I use DisplayCal with a Spyder X .  A couple years ago I read somewhere that I have to set or disable a dell setting that over rides my DisplayCal settings.  I noticed recently when I select a DisplayCal calibration “protocol” in the Display settings after a few seconds it is over written.  Something got reset somewhere   Does anyone know what and where that setting is stored?
