    Hi,

I just calibrated my laptop screen using DisplayCAL, and applied the profile as a system-wide profile and checked the load on startup box. The problem is that the profile doesn’t load on startup. I have to manually open profile loader in order for the profile to be applied.

I also tried running DisplayCAL as an admin and hitting the install profile button, but without any luck..

    Regards,

How did you install DisplayCAL? Or are you using the portable version (ZIP)?

I installed it through the installer in the default installation directory (Program files). I didn’t start the installer as an administrator, but it requested admin privileges when it was going to install.

Check Windows task scheduler. There should be a task “DisplayCAL Profile Loader Launcher”. If the profile loader is already running, close it. Then, right-click the task and select “Run”. The profile loader should launch.

The task is there, it’s enabled and hitting Run does indeed load the profile. But after rebooting I have to do this again..

Okay I got it fixed by setting ‘if the task is already running’ to ‘stop the existing instance’

I fail to see how that could possibly work. After logon, there will be no existing instance, because the task will start it.

I don’t get it either, but it seems to be working fine, even after a reboot.. Previously, the task wouldn’t run, it showed the task hasn’t been executed a single time and the status was queued.
