    Hi Florian

Just a question regarding profile loader.

I have it ronning on all my windows 10 pcs but on two of them it loads from task scheduler.

Others it just loads from user startup folder shortcut.

I feel loading using task scheduler at login to be faster than using startup folder entry.

How does displaycal decide if it will create a scheduled task or create a startup folder entry?

Is there a way to create a scheduled task by default instead?

If you use the installer (setup.exe), it’ll create the task for you (and automatically clean up any pre-existing startup entries).

I have the portable zip version on all my pcs.

I have never run the installer on any of my pcs

Two of them somehow managed to add the scheduled task. ( I didn’t add a scheduled task manually)

So  i was thinking if there was a way to add scheduled taak from the potable version instead of messing with task scheduler myself or  insalling displaycal (i like to keep most of stuff portable)

In that case, you can have the same effect by running the profile loader as administrator manually once.

    Perfect.

Thanks Florian worked like a charm 🙂
