Hello, can anyone help me decipher what might have happened here? I was calibrating when it suddenly crashed and told me dispread had an issue.
I’ve attached the log.
From the logs it looks like it crashed in del_i1proimp within dispread. That is called when the instrument is about to be shut down after use. Maybe your instrument unexpectedly disconnected?
Thanks, just tried it again after re-installing Argyll and it produced the same error. Any thoughts?
Maybe this is happening in your case as well:

Send that issue to Argyllcms maillist.
Thanks guys, I’m communicating with someone from Argyll now. I’ll give an update when I learn more.
Hi everyone, update here.
I contacted Argyll and Graeme Gill helped me. He had to send me a debug version of dispread in order to get me going for now – supposedly it’s a temporary fix. Here are his words:
“that’s good to get you going, but the problem isn’t actually fixed – it’s
just hiding somewhere else because I added some debug code.
Hard to know if it’s a latent bug in my code, or an issue with
rosetta translating between x86 and ARM, since it doesn’t
seem to show up when run on native x86 HW.
I’ll leave the code in that recognizes the specific crash
you had for future ArgyllCMS releases, but it is likely just a short
term workaround.”
