Hi I am a noob in calibration and I have been searching for a while now. I have a Spyder 5 and I want to calibrate my HDTVs without profiling. That is, I want the TV to be as accurate as possible to display other sources such as Blu-ray player and console.

I thought about using the interactive measurement for my PC to read the TV output while I adjust the menu options. But I could not find how to display other patterns while it reads the colorimeter output and shows the measurement on screen.

Please any advice on what I should do?

    Thanks!

Hi, DisplayCAL is not aimed at adjusting TVs without profiling. Have a look at HCFR instead.
