    I like how it is possible to calibrate the white point of the monitor with the monitor’s built-in gain controls using DisplayCal. As my monitor has also got settings for gamma and black point, I wonder if would be possible to also calibrate those with the help of DisplayCal and a colorimeter. Maybe even further settings like contrast could be taken into account. My idea is that I would like to bring my monitor as close as possible to perfect colour resemblance before performing the profiling.

    Oh, and another thing that would be nice to have: Displaying the white point also in Kelvin instead of just in chromaticity coordinates during the calibration.
