Hello, new to this forum so please forgive if this is a repeated question!
I just got a Spyder 5 calibrator with SpyderPrint and ran came across DisplayCal after doing some searching around because I was little disappointed with the Datacolor results. After the DisplayCal calibration my monitor is definitely brighter than DataColor results and the print does not match. I was wondering if I missed a DisplayCal setting somewhere or should I try again?
Also, is there a way to calibrate the printer to match DisplayCal calibration?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Hi,
print evaluation definitely requires careful environmental setup. The brightness of the monitor (and whitepoint) should roughly match that of the viewing illumination. Also, the printer needs to be accurately profiled.
