    Hi,

I just finished doing a calibration of my sister’s laptop (screen is https://laptopmedia.com/screen/auo-b133han05-c-auo5c2d/) using my ColorMunki.

With correction for LCD White LED, white level drift compensation, and temperature set to 4200k (white level as measured, tone curve gamma 2.2) and despite having profile quality to high and low calibration speed I get weird spots.

Immediately on the profile preview, I saw that black text was showing some green and blue spots around it. This does not happen (obviously) without the DisCal profile.

It’s more noticeable in real life, and really distracting.

Link to zip of the profile generated: https://droppy.cubox.dev/$/6HBXb.zip

I’m guessing there is some setting to change to avoid this issue, any help would be appreciated. Let me know if I can use the “Create profile from measurement data” option, or if I would need to redo the measurements.

    Thanks!

Try another ClearType setup in Windows. It should be in control panel fonts, left column menu.

It does seems to help, thanks. I’m not sure it’s entirely gone but it’s really hard to tell. Your vision becomes fuzzy if you look too close at the text for a while.

I can’t find anywhere an explanation as to why this occurs at all, after a calibration… I did not have this issue with my own PC and screen.
