    Hello!

I’ve recently been calibrating my monitor using a Spyder 5 colorimeter and I achieved the results in the attached profile (2019-12-13). Now I’ve bought a X-rite i1 Display Pro which I’ve read is more accurate than the Spyder 5 and I achieved the results in the second attached profile (2020-01-06).

I used the same correction (Panasonic PFS) on both colorimeters. The gamut coverage and volume are a bit lower with the i1 than measured with the Spyder 5 but I’m not sure If that means my calibration results are worse with the i1. Can someone compare both profiles and tell me which one has more accurate results? Thanks

    Hi,

No. Higher coverage does not mean more accurate.

Can someone compare both profiles and tell me which one has more accurate results? Thanks

There’s not much difference between the two profiles, but since the i1 Display Pro has better low-light sensitivity it’s likely the more accurate one.

    Thanks for the info 🙂
