Hi, I have an Asus mx239h and a spyder 5. I recently downloaded Displaycal to help calibrate my monitor since it was recommended. I use this monitor for gaming on xbox and for game level design programs such as radiant black edition, unreal engine, unity, etc. There is a lot of options on each page in which I don’t know what they are or do . Does anyone know which settings I should use on each page of displaycal (display and instrument, calibration, profiling) so I could get the best possible colors for my monitor? Thanks!
Hi,
if you’re just starting out, use the defaults. Note that color profiles are not supported by game engines, if you want full color correction in games, you have to use ReShade together with a 3D LUT (see the Wiki for a guide).
