Forgive me if this isn’t called dithering.

Until a few days ago, I was using dispcal with no problems.

Then, I switched to windows 7, and switched back to windows 10.  On both OS, I had bad dithering sometimes. In W7, it was caused by disabling one of my 3 monitors. Even if I re-enabled it, the dithering would remain.

Here’s an example of a problem picture:

… This is what it should look like:

    Another example:    …. Compared to:

Sometimes it’s significantly worse than this.

My calibration profiles are new, but I tried replacing my new profile with an old one for one of my monitors, and the problem remained.

I tried resetting the video card gamma table, and that didn’t help. I tried closing and opening the profile loader, which also didn’t help.

I also tried removing the profile, to no avail…

    What’s causing this?!

The word you’re looking for is artefacting.

That would indicate the profile is not the problem, but just to be sure, attach the profile(s). What image viewer(s) are you using to display the images?

Profiles. I started with the 2.2 profs (accident) and the smaller sRGB.

Any idea what could be the issue?

Chrome 61 currently seems to have rendering issues.

O.K., I’ll note if it happens with anything else.

Sorry about it apparently blocking you from my file. I asked it for a shareable link, but it still said I had to authorize you….

    Thanks.
