    I found a solution to the strange Argyll anomalies which can appear in color gradients. (My earlier issue)

    I simply ran your “Check Measurement File” feature on the affected profile and rewrote the profile using the ‘issues’ which appeared. I left the green check-marks and the red ‘X’s as they were as I have no idea what I’m doing…But it worked! Everything checked out in ‘Verification’ and the anomalies were gone.

    This worked on two separate occasions. 🙂

    Does this sound like a reasonable approach, or am I missing something here?

    If the measurements are botched, it might be worth trying to figure out why – device (instrument) error, display instability, outside factors (light, vibration, etc) could all be possible causes.
