I’m using a (fairly old) Gretagmacbeth Huey device to calibrate my laptop screen and a Dell external monitor. The attached image shows the display adjustment screen after a period of measurement of the laptop. I don’t understand why the green reading is way out of kilter from the red and blue. There definitely is not any strong colour cast on the screen, and I get very similar results from using it with a different monitor. Do these readings make sense or is the Huey broken? Having said that, continuing with the calibration and profiling does do a reasonable job of getting my 2 screens looking about right, although no matter what I do I can’t get them to look the same as each other. That is another story however – for now I’m just trying to eliminate things one at a time.
